Reinforced concrete lean sustainable building : Saket, Delhi 2020 - 2021

The objective was to design a classical structure with an exceptional facade design. The building is built using flat slab with a 3 m deep basement. The most difficult aspect of the entire endeavour was designing the foundation and flat slab. To deal with seismic stresses, it has been suggested that the entire floor surface to be covered with a flat slab with downstand beams at strategic positions such as periphery and near the elevators.

The entire foundation was designed using a combination of raft foundation, combined footing, and isolated footing. To support the structure above the basement and to provide proper connection with the basement wall from all sides, a raft foundation has been proposed.

​

An exquisite atrium at the building's entryway adds to its luxurious appearance. Two elevators are included in the structure on each side, ensuring the building's torsional stability.

When it comes to the facade design, brick masonry and some steel framing have been used to give some exterior an aesthetic shape.

Reinforced concrete  frame system with aluminium facade : Gurgaon, Delhi 2020 - 2021

This building's concrete frame system and contemporary exterior were outstanding design elements. The facade is composed of 1000 kg each aluminium MS units. The respective unit is made of an aluminium section measuring 75 mm by 75 mm by 2 mm thick and an MS square tube measuring 100 mm by 100 mm by 2.5 mm in thickness. Steel foundation plates are used to anchor the formed truss system to the building's peripheral beams.

The unit measures 16" x 14". When each of these modules are fastened to the outer beams, an exquisite facade is formed.

The elegant structure looks really stunning at night.

The first step in the project was to conduct a thorough analysis of the site, taking into account factors such as soil type, seismic activity, wind loads, and other environmental conditions. Based on this analysis, we developed a design concept that meets the client's requirements while also adhering to local building codes and regulations.

The design of a reinforced concrete frame building typically involved the use of vertical and horizontal reinforced concrete columns and beams to support the weight of the structure. These elements are interconnected to form a rigid frame that can resist lateral loads, such as wind or earthquakes. The concrete frame is then covered with reinforced concrete slabs to create the floors and roof of the building.

To enhance the building's visual appeal, the structural engineer may incorporate various architectural features, such as curved cantilevered balconies, or large windows. The use of decorative elements, such as colored or textured concrete, can also add to the building's aesthetic appeal.

Throughout the project, we worked closely with the architect and other members of the design team to ensure that the structural elements of the building are seamlessly integrated into the overall design. The engineer would also oversee the construction process to ensure that the building is built according to the approved design plans and that all necessary safety measures are in place.

Our structural engineering company was tasked with designing a reinforced concrete building for a client. The building was intended for commercial use and was to be constructed on a tight urban site. The client had specific requirements for the building, including a high level of seismic resistance, a flexible interior layout, and a modern aesthetic.

Our team of structural engineers began by analyzing the site and determining the seismic loads that the building would need to resist. We then designed a reinforced concrete structural system that incorporated seismic-resistant features such as moment frames, and foundation systems. We used computer modeling software to analyze the behavior of the building under different loading scenarios and to optimize the design for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Throughout the design process, we collaborated closely with the architect and the client to ensure that the building met their specific requirements. We provided detailed construction sequence and specifications, and we coordinated with the contractor during the construction phase to ensure that the building was built according to our design plans.
